Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

To all of our dedicated patients on behalf of the team at CCO, I would like to let you know how much we value your health. Our hygiene practices has always been at high clinical standards, however in recent events with COVID-19 we have escalated our cleaning and hygiene protocols throughout the clinic to meet the Australian Government department of Health standards. Our reception staff have formally been authorised to reschedule or refuse treatment of anyone with flu-like symptoms along with those returning from overseas travel. We hope that you can understand and appreciate that the health of our team and other patients is paramount.

In order to limit the spread of COVID-19 we kindly ask of all patients who have recently travelled or transited through the following countries (mainland China, Iran, Italy, Republic of Korea or the United States of America) to cancel their appointment and isolate themselves. This also goes for those individuals who have been in close contact with someone who has been tested positive.

At this stage, Casey Central Osteopathy will be open for business as usual. As the situation unfolds we will closely monitor and take advice from the Commonwealth and State Departments of Health and act on that. Your health has always been our number one priority. If at any time we are instructed to close the clinic upon the advice of the relevant government departments, we will notify you via phone or SMS.

In the case of suspected coronavirus our colleagues next door at Casey Family Practice are triaging patients over the phone if necessary. Otherwise the closest COVID-19 clinic is at 7 Gibb St, Berwick (10AM – 6PM, 7 Days a week). You can also call the 24/7 COVID-19 hotline on 1800 020 080 for more information. Thank you all kindly.
